Updated 3-30-20

As a licensed health care professional, I will remain open through North Carolina's Stay-at-Home orders and Wake County's Stay-at-Home orders.  Chiropractic care is a Health Care service and will remain open as an "essential" business that provides critical services during Stay-at-Home orders.  As stated in the North Carolina Chiropractic Association press release, “Doctors of Chiropractic are primary care physicians and represent an essential and necessary component of the health care program for patients of all ages and all walks of life in North Carolina. Timely and consistent access to chiropractic care is essential to the maintenance of the health and well-being of this patient population.”

“During the Governor’s News conference held on Monday March 23, he issued an Order that included a directive that Massage Therapists stop practicing by 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2020. This includes massage therapist that work in Chiropractic offices.” -North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners

This means Kristin cannot see patients, as a Massage Therapist, at this time.

If you have become unemployed due to the recent events, I am still here for you.

What we are doing:

-Sanitizing Shared surfaces throughout the day

-Sanitizing the Treatment Table and Doctor’s hands between patients

-Checking everyone’s temperature, with a no contact thermometer, before they get on the Treatment Table

-Leaving doors open when possible, to avoid touching more things and create air flow

-Check-in by texting to avoid waiting rooms, wait in your car or enjoy the outdoors

-Asking that patients who have a fever, flu-like or respiratory symptoms stay at home

-Asking that, when possible, only patients being treated enter the office

-Avoiding hugs and handshakes

-Staying open, to help keep people healthy with Immune Boosting Chiropractic Adjustments and to help keep pain patients out of the hospitals

-Carrying Immune Boosting Supplements in office and making them available online for at-home-delivery from www.standardprocess.com/Patient-Direct Text me for my doctor code.

COVID-19 Response

In accordance to CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 we are implementing additional sanitation measures in the office by sanitizing shared surfaces throughout the day, including door handles, sanitizing treatment tables and doctor’s hands between each patient.  I am checking everyone’s temperature, with a no contact thermometer, before they can get on the table for treatment.  I am also checking my own temperature and my family members temperatures before going into the office each day.  Following governor Roy Cooper’s executive orders, massage therapy business must close, so Kristin will not be seeing patients at this time.

To avoid clustering in waiting rooms we will be spacing time between patients.  When you arrive choose an empty waiting room, we have two.  If you’d prefer to wait in your car, just text when you arrive and I will message you back when the treatment room is ready.  My cell is the same as my business number.  If possible, only the people who are getting adjusted should come into the office. So leave the kids at home, unless they are getting adjusted, if you can please.

Please keep up with your adjustments.  Chiropractic adjustments boost T-cell function which is a vital part of your Immune System.  Keeping your Immune System functioning optimally is my top priority.

I also have immune boosting supplements available in office and the option to order Standard Process supplements online and have them delivered to your door though Standard Process Patient Direct.  Contact me if you would like to do that, you will need a special code.  www.standardprocess.com/Patient-Direct

You know me, I’m a pretty friendly guy but in the best interest of all my patients, I will be avoiding hugs and handshakes for now.  Points will be awarded for finger guns or other creative salutations.

I will wear a mask and gloves if you ask me to or if it is clinically necessary.

As long as I am well, uncontaminated, and allowed to, I will continue to treat patients.

If you are sick, showing cold or flu-like symptoms, please stay at home and seek medical help as needed.  Feel free to contact me by text if you have questions or concerns.

I will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

We are all going through the changes brought about by this Pandemic together.  I love you all.
